Every Women Fights!
Women played a significant role in history, despite disagreements about their position in history. Women are perceived to be always at home, doing housework. They were not permitted to work as they were considered as 'homemaker'. So how did women appear in history?
Most of these ideas came from ancient Egypt, where women were respected and even had a certain degree of power. In Egypt, women headed the administration, they were influential in the royal palaces. Women like Nefertiti, Queen Hatshepsut, and even Cleopatra, who usually ruled Egypt for her husband, but in their own time, they ruled Egypt as a king.
Women have made many contributions to society in the form of inventions and discoveries. Female inventors, such as Mary Anderson, played a major role in making life easier for the American public. They invented a variety of household appliances, including the clothes dryer. Mary Anderson and other female inventors such as Stephanie Kwolek, Eileen Kimberly, and Marguerite Patten changed the world with their inventions.
The month of March is when The National Women's Month is being held. This is to acknowledge the power that women holds. Women are now free from discrimination, gender inequality, and many more. However, we can not deny the fact that there are still women who suffer from these issues. Both men and women now share the same responsibilities both at work and at home. I've observed that these past years, many organizations had been fighting for the rights of women.
