The Aftermath of Being Able to Act Expeditiously
Philippines is prone to experience natural disasters, especially earthquakes. This is because Philippines lies along the Pacific Ring of Fire. Encountering natural disasters is inevitable. We can not stop it, however we can prepare to face it. NDRRMC and DSWD are examples of governmental agencies who helps people who are in need during disasters.
To be prepared when an earthquake occurs, a Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill should be practiced. The effects of an earthquakes to humanity is horrific. Not only that it destroys properties but it also takes thousands of lives. The damage of an earthquake is extensive, without the proper knowledge on what to do when an earthquake occurs can take lives, not only our lives but we can also endanger the people around us if we don't have the enough knowledge.
Being able to participate such an important event like Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill that can save lives is a must. Not only that it can save ourselves but we can also save the lives of people around us. We can share the knowledge that we've learned to others. Sharing information on social media platforms is great. As people nowadays tend to spend more time on their gadgets. Save yourself and other people.

ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more that being prepared is our best choice in facing earthquakes for it is unforeseeable. It is indeed needed for people to participate in earthquake drills because it can maintain the safety of people during an earthquake strikes.
